One of Citygarden's key features is a 10-foot-long outdoor video wall. The wall caps a quarry-like stepped room of large limestone blocks situated in the western block of the garden's northern tier.

Baseball games, movies, commercial films, and art videos will be projected onto the state-of-the-art LED video wall, with an emphasis on artistic videos. These videos will be selected by a team of curators, one each from St. Louis' major museums: Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis, the Pulitzer Foundation for the Arts, the Mildred Lane Kemper Art Museum, and the St. Louis Art Museum. The curators will be free to program the wall on a theme of their choosing. The content will play in a continuous loop, typically playing between 20 and 50 minutes of film in the loop.

The goal with the videos for the video wall will be similar to that of the sculptures throughout Citygarden: to make the art accessible to a wide audience.
